The Val Luretta Military Museum
"Val Luretta" offers a small but very interesting Military Museum. It contains artefacts from the Italian Army dating back as far as the end of the 19th Century. There is no entrance fee.
Massimiliano Passante is a Captain in the Italian Reserve and his father was a Colonel in the Army.
Like his father, he has a passion for collecting military objects and artefacts and his collection is now available to the public thanks to this museum.
You will find various kinds of weapons, uniforms, helmets, buttons, shoes, camp kitchens, flags, medical supplies, documents, objects found on the battlefield and more.
Massimiliano is happy to share what he has learned and makes documentation of interest available to scholars and historians upon request.
The Military Museum is of particular interest to students and young people and Massimiliano is happy to give tours to explain in detail the history of his collection.
"We are proud of our heritage and tradition!"
